Inspired by vector art
Some of my paintings inspired by vector art...
recently I realized acrylics as a medium, they have the transpenrency of water colors and the paint like quality of oil colors and they dry so quickly...
some of these paintings are not my own compositions, in an attempt to try out acrylics as a medium I picked them from various sources. Few of them I composed from different images I found interesting.
I hope of make my own vector artwork in the future and paint based on them.

Ten faces of innovation........must read by all
One of the books I read recently and which is worth mentioning here is "Ten faces of Innovation" by Tom Kelly of IDEO
To sum up the book in a single sentence I would say True Innovation comes through collaboration... Indeed nothing can be more true than this. As the world of design is progressing the silos within it are being bridged.
I highly recommend it to everyone not only those in Design and related disciplines but just anyone.
This is one book that I can say I read at a very appropriate time in my life.
The faces are:the anthropologist, the experimenter, the cross-pollinator, the hurdler, the collaborator, the director, the experience architect, the set designer, the caregiver and the storyteller.
I cannot identify myself with just one particular role but a I would probably be donning different roles given different situations.
it is very interesting to see how Tom describes each role with real world examples from IDEO's projects.

Kate and Leopold
Kate and Leopold what a beautiful movie... some of the dialogues are sheer poetry...Writers James Mangold, Steven Rogers did such a great job.though the storyline is very utopian, nevertheless it is entertaining. I must have watched it over 15 times one of my all time favorite movies, I keep discovering more such dialogues each time I watch it.
Love Jackman's portryal of a suave and charming duke, great performance, not to mention the wonderfully simple yet charming libran smile...
The meal is the result of reflection and study, menus are prepared in advance, timed to perfection. It is said without the culinary arts the crudeness of reality would be unbearable - leopold
So very true...
Life is not solely comprised of tasks but tastes... leopold
Marriage is the promise of eternal love, as a man of honor, I cannot promise eternally what I have never felt momentarily...leopold
Ah .... so appropriate when he is forced to choose a bride by his uncle...
Love is a leap. Lamentably, I have never been inspired to jump...leopold
Brave are simply those with clearest vision of what is before them glory and danger alike and not withstanding go out to meet it...leopold -
Time, Time it has been proposed is the fourth dimension yet for mortal man, time has no dimension at all. we are like horses with blinders, see only that lies before us, Hear hear forever guessing the future and unfabricating the past. How, you ask, can we lift these shackles and live... not in the moment but in the glorious expanse of time's continuum? Listen, and I shall tell you.The secret lies in the enduring power of our achievements our creations! - Roebling in the opening scene
Another one...
In a life as stagnant as mine, that I can amuse myself at all is an evolutionary marvel...

Eclectic
Some of my favorite quotes, phrases from a variety of sources...books, movies, critical reviews... some of which intrigued me, inspired me, moved me, made me laugh and got me thinking about the rationale behind them.
